I had previously installed Amazon Workspaces in March 2014 and then stopped using it and also deleted my Workspace on Amazon's servers. Now I'm setting up Amazon Workspaces again with a client on the same Mac, running Yosemite. The client was still installed and it updated itself to v1.0.8. However, now it keeps cycling through a series of login attempt windows without ever asking me for my login credentials. I know I have a good network connection, and I have no firewall or http proxy in my way. I tried reinstalling by downloading the client installation package from the clients web page, and I also tried deleting the directory for Workspaces under ~/Library/Application Support/ and deleting the preferences files ~/Library/Preferences/com.amazon* I assume the issue is that my old credentials are still somehow retained by the Workspaces client and I need to clear them out. I attached screenshots for reference. Note that 'Register' and 'Advanced Settings' are not accessible in the menu -- both are greyed out. |

Re: How to fully uninstall and reinstall Workspaces client on the Mac? Posted on: Dec 4, 2014 10:25 AM | Hello, sorry about your issue. It is possible that your registration code that you used is no longer valid. Can you send me your registration code via private message to that I can validate. Also to change your registration code to a new one on Mac, in the top menu click options, then Register, then type in your new registration code. Please let us know if this solves your problem. Thanks! |

Re: How to fully uninstall and reinstall Workspaces client on the Mac? Posted on: Dec 9, 2014 12:59 PM | I have the same/similar problem. What I did was to remove the old VPC and Workspace Directory and then I started getting these issues. Workspaces was automatically updated to 1.08 as well and it keeps looping on the 'registration service' which it cannot connect to. By it looping on this i cannot access the menu to change the registration code. One of my coworkers tried the same thing and it works fine for him. He didn't have Workspaces installed previously which I did. Knowing that the old workspace directory is gone, is there a way I can find this setting/file and delete it manually? I'm on the same OS as the original thread user. |

| Hi, Apologies for the issue you have been facing. If I understand it clearly then this issue surfaces after your WorkSpace directory got deleted. In this situation what you see in is actually a desired behavior. This is our client health check dashboard and in this case it tells that WorkSpace resource corresponding to the given registration code does not exist. Now in situation you have two options to change your registration code. Option 1 1) Launch the client 2) After few seconds you will see dialog with an error message and a retry button (refer the RetryDialog.png attchement). 3) At this instance click on the setting->Register link 4) Change the registration code Option 2 1) Close WorkSpaces client 2) If on Windows then navigate to 'C:Users<user>Application DataLocalAmazon Web Services' and delete all inside the folder. If on OS X then navigate to '/Users/<user>/Library/Logs/Amazon Web Services' and delete all under the folder 3) Launch WorkSpaces client and you should be able to provide new registration code Please let us know if it solves the issue that you have been facing. We apologize for the inconvenience. |

Re: How to fully uninstall and reinstall Workspaces client on the Mac? Posted on: Nov 27, 2015 8:22 PM | Delete the file here: /Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Amazon Web Services/Amazon Looks like it contains the info from the last install and is not overwritten with the new install! |

Re: How to fully uninstall and reinstall Workspaces client on the Mac? Posted on: Mar 17, 2017 9:36 AM | You dont have to uninstall anything. On a MAC when the workspaces client is open look at the top bar for Options. Then there should be a field for 'manage registrations'. Make sure the code matches your actual registration. If it doesnt then you need to correct by deleting the old an re-entering the correct code. The code will throw a network error if its incorrect. |

Uninstall Amazon Mp3 Downloader Mac Os X
Open Settings on Windows 10 and click on Apps. The entire list of installed apps will be displayed on the screen, locate the app you want to uninstall and click on it. From there, click on Uninstall button and confirm by clicking on Uninstall button again from the popup. Also, note, from here you can even uninstall the Windows software as well. Go back to the top menu and click on the Go tab again. This time, choose Go to Folder from the drop-down list. Once the Go to Folder is on your screen type in /Library/LaunchAgents and then click on the Go tab. Look for any files that could be related to the Amazon Assistant virus and Move to Trash.
